Meet winemaker Brenae Royal for Happy Hour with her Violet's Paradise wines!
“Wine begins with the Soil,” for Brenae Royal, that soil is legendary.
Brenae spent over a decade as the winegrower and vineyard manager of the historic Monte Rosso Vineyards in Sonoma, California. The Monte Rosso Vineyard was established in 1886, and its zinfandel vines are among the oldest in the World. It is also recognized as holding the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon block in the world. Brenae now uses those vines to make her Violet’s Paradise – named after her dog, Violet Mae. These premium wines are crafted along with winemaker Marc Gagnon – formerly with Screaming Eagle, among other places.
Come meet Brenae Royal and drink her esteemed wines at, fittingly, Rex at the Royal!
From those exalted Monte Rosso soils, we’ll have Brenae’s Zinfandel and Grenache available by the glass, and the iconic Cabernet Sauvignon available to purchase by the bottle to drink now or add to your collection. We’ll also have her Brut sparkling wine, whose entire proceeds benefit The Veraison and its promotion of equality in the wine industry.
Happy Hour starts 4-6pm in our Bottle Shop and it will be Pay-As-You-Go.
